Select the "Settings" option from the "Tools" drop-down menu. Next, select the "My Profile" sidebar menu
and observe that Piolet requests that you create a nickname. If you choose to establish a nickname for the
Piolet network, do not select a name which exposes your identity or sensitive information about yourself
such as your bank account login name, your BOL ID, your social security number, etc.

Select the "Uploads" sidebar menu and highlight the displayed folders that Piolet will share with the
network. As its description notes, all files within the shared folders are openly accessible. Remove all
folders and their associated files with this menu.

Entering a value of "0" (zero) into the three options under the "Uploads" side menu below ("Maximum
simultaneous," "Maximum per user," and "Maximum users") will result in an automatic reversion to a
value of "1" (one) by Piolet.
